WAEC Registration 2025 Closing Date Nigeria

How much is WAEC registration for 2025?

When you register, there will be a fee. All students applying for the WAEC exams this time must pay this fee. And you can pay this fee up till 9 August 2025.

The fee can be different for juniors and seniors. Let’s have a look at how much this fee can be for each of these cases.

Junior Registration Price

For junior registration, you have to pay at least N18000. This is the fee that the schools have to pay for each of the students. Keep in mind that the schools might charge fees higher than this depending on their fee structure and other dues.

Senior Registration Price

The senior registration fee is N27500. In this, N27000 is the registration fee for the senior students applying for the WAEC exams, while N500 is the bank commission fee.

There are a lot of payment options available for the students. There are banks as well as cashless options. It is up to you to decide what you want to do to pay this fee.

Note: Students who apply 24 hours before the exam starts can pay 30000 instead of 27000.

Complete the WAEC Registration Process

Now that you have paid the registration fee, it is time to complete the process and get you registered for the WAEC exams. Make sure that you complete the entire process within 2 weeks of paying your registration fee.

Here is the step-wise process for all the students and teachers.

1. Pay the registration fee. This will give you the PIN
2. Use the PIN to register on the WAEC website within 2 weeks
3. Fill in all the details required such as the date of birth, the NIN, gender, photo, etc.
4. Now, students can either go for CB-WASSCE or Pen and Paper Test.
5. Print the admission notice. This will have other details such as your exam number, serial number, etc. This is an important document you must have.
